ROOTS & BOOTS TOUR featuring: Aaron Tippin, Sammy Kershaw, & Collin Raye
May 31, 2024
The Roots and Boots Tour offers the rare opportunity to see three of country music’s most-adored artists together, with one band, sharing stories and songs. Aaron Tippin (“You’ve Got To Stand For Something,” “Where The Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly”), Sammy Kershaw (“She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful,” “Queen of My Double Wide Trailer”), and Collin Raye (“Love, Me,” “My Kind of Girl”) headline this year’s event. Collectively, they’ve amassed over 50 top-twenty Billboard hits.
Drenched in sun-kissed natural beauty both inside and out, Nashville native Deana Carter didn’t take a seemingly easy route to stardom but instead chose to defy the conventional expectations of the typical Nashville artist blueprint and make her mark. And she did, undeniably taking the industry and fans by storm with her wildly successful multi-platinum international debut “Did I Shave My Legs For This?” more than two decades ago. Anchored by the dreamy super hit ” Strawberry Wine,” Carter showcased her blend of country and retro-rock sprinkled with the folksy singer/songwriter qualities that have garnered Deana Carter well-deserved respect and wild acclaim.
Tickets are available as Lower Arena Reserved Tables (must purchase 4 seats/ full table), Lower Arena GA Seats, Upper Lawn GA Tickets, and ADA tickets.
ADA sections allow for one (1) ADA ticketed seat, and one (1) ticketed companion seat. ALL must possess a ticket. Wheelchairs, scooters, and walkers are allowed for ADA. Seats provided.

January 24, 2024
[Beaver Dam, KY] – Beaver Dam Amphitheater proudly announces another stellar addition to the First United Bank & Trust 2024 Concert Series.
Legendary Dance/R&B/Soul Band SISTER SLEDGE will headline the 2nd Annual DISCO at The DAM on Saturday, June 15, 2024. A very special guest, the most celebrated DISCO band of our generation, Boogie Wonder Band, will also perform. Gates will open at 5:30 pm, and the show will start at 7:00 pm CDT.
A Password PreSale for tickets occurs Friday, January 26, from 9:00 am until 11:59 pm CST. Sign up for the email newsletter at BeaverDamAmp.com to receive the password. Tickets go on sale to the general public (No password required) on Saturday, January 27, at 9:00 am CST.
Heath Eric, Promoter with The Eric Group, said, “After the incredible response from the inaugural DISCO at The DAM last year with KC & The Sunshine Band, we plan to make this an annual event. SISTER SLEDGE is one the most iconic and entertaining DISCO & dance bands from the ‘70s. They have a long list of Gold and Platinum hits and Grammy nominations. I mean, who hasn’t heard “We Are Family?” They also put on an amazing, high-energy show. They’re flying in from the UK for this show, and we are thrilled to have them in Beaver Dam, Kentucky.”
Tickets are available as Lower Arena Reserved Tables for Four (4) people, Lower Arena GA seats, ADA, and Lawn GA. Reserved Tables in sections 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 include dedicated F&B table service and touch-free payment, allowing guests to order food & drinks directly from their phones. Reserved tables in sections 6L and 6R do not include table service. Lower Arena GA tickets include seats. All Lower Arena tickets include access to the pit directly in front of the stage. Lawn GA tickets allow guests to bring a small folding chair. Hotel and Shuttle packages are also available.
Eric continued, “Boogie Wonder Band will take the stage at 7:00 pm. If you know, you know. If not, you will. There’s a reason they are hailed as “the most celebrated DISCO band of our generation.” They do it and do it well. One of the best touring shows out there today. Like last year, we’ll have a Dance and Costume contest with some great prizes at intermission. Pull those groovy threads and boogie shoes out of the back of the closet and join us for another night you’ll never forget when we get down, DISCO-STYLE, at The DAM on June 15. We’ll see you there.”
With dance floors all over the world set alight with the contagious joy and expression in their music, the SLEDGE sisters became a household name and symbol of unity with their 1979 worldwide hit and iconic album We Are Family. The multi-lead vocal group SISTER SLEDGE is responsible for some of the biggest dance anthems ever. “Lost in Music,” “He’s the Greatest Dancer,” and “Thinking of You” are universally cherished songs that unite people in love, life, and soulful groove. Over the years, the family group has amassed a string of Gold and Platinum hits, generating total sales of over 20,000,000 worldwide and earning hundreds of awards and commendations, including GRAMMY Nominations for Record of the Year, Best R&B Duo or Group, and Best Produced CD.
They have performed on prestigious stages such as London’s Royal Albert Hal, New York’s Carnegie Hal, the White House in Washington DC, the famed Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival, and before Pope Francis at the World Meeting of Families in their hometown, Philadelphia, PA.
After over 3,000 shows worldwide, the Boogie Wonder Band has become our generation’s most celebrated DISCO band. They have played in Canada, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Cuba, China, Macao, Italy, Ecuador, Hawaii, Monaco, France, Japan, India, and over a hundred cities in the USA.
If we didn’t know better, we’d say that the Boogie Wonder Band arrived via a time machine because this 10-piece band busts out funk-a-licious grooves and disco-strutting jams like they are straight out of the ’70s. Channeling the era with a full-throttle, high-octane live show, each member dons eye-popping Las Vegas-inspired costumes and flashy personas. They don’t just hail from another land; they come from another decade – where Disco ruled the dance floors!
On Saturday, June 15, these incredible bands will bring a power-packed show to The DAM.

Big & Rich are America’s Technicolor Cowboys, brothers-in-arms in service to the creed that great music has no boundaries. Individually, Big Kenny and John Rich are first-rate musicians, songwriters, producers, and entertainers. Together, they are one of the most truly original musical forces ever unleashed on a welcoming world.
William Kenneth Alphin, best known by his stage name Big Kenny, is an American country music singer. He and John Rich comprise the duo Big & Rich, who recorded six studio albums and charted nineteen singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Before Big & Rich, Big Kenny recorded a solo album, Live a Little, for Hollywood Records in 1999 (although it was not released until 2005) and fronted a band called luvjOi. He has also written or co-written several of Big & Rich’s songs with Rich, as well as singles for Gretchen Wilson, Jason Aldean, McBride & the Ride, and Tim McGraw. His first solo single, “Long After I’m Gone,” was released to country radio on August 3, 2009, from the album The Quiet Times of a Rock and Roll Farm Boy.
John Rich is an American country music singer-songwriter. From 1992 to 1998, he was a member of the country music band Lonestar, in which he played bass guitar and alternated with Richie McDonald as lead vocalist. After departing from the band in 1998, he embarked on a solo career on BNA Records in the late 1990s, releasing two singles for the label and recording Underneath the Same Moon, which was not released until 2006. In 2001, he self-released Rescue Me, an album he was inspired to record by a cancer patient named Katie Darnell. By 2003, he joined Big Kenny to form the duo Big & Rich, who released three albums on Warner Bros.
Gretchen Wilson went overnight from talented obscurity to phenomenon. Her meteoric rise, the kind experienced by only a handful of artists in the past few decades, was that rare instance where talent and moment meet to form a cultural tidal wave. Gretchen’s ability to tailor songs as gorgeously rough-edged as she is has given her the kind of “I am what I sing” originality few women in music history – Loretta, Janis, Dolly, and Cher among them– have ever been able to achieve. Her first single, “Redneck Woman,” spent six weeks at #1 and earned her a GRAMMY AWARD for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. Her debut album, “Here For The Party,” sold over five million copies and spawned three more top 5 hit singles.
Blending country and rap into his self-styled ‘hick-hop’ style, 6 feet 5 inches black rapper Cowboy Troy emerged at the start of the new millennium as one of the more unusual figures on the Nashville music scene. He first began performing while studying psychology at the University of Texas, wearing a cowboy hat and rapping over club beats at local club events. After a series of independent releases at the start of the new millennium, his music career began to go places when he became a regular contributor to the MuzikMafia round table night, a Nashville-based weekly event organized by the country duo Big And Rich (John Rich and Kenny Alphin). His association with the duo strengthened when he began appearing as part of their live show. He contributed memorable moments to their hit 2004 album, Horse Of A Different Color, most notably on the track ‘Rollin’ (The Ballad Of Big & Rich)’. Troy subsequently landed his own recording contract with Warner Brothers Nashville and is the Godfather of Hick Hop Music.
DJ Sinister is at the helm of the hottest syndicated program sweeping country radio as the mix master of “Country Fried Mix.” Now on over 50 country radio stations and the number 1 weekend party. DJ Sinister is no stranger to the spotlight. The Cape Coral, Florida native founded the internationally recognized rock band Twisted Method, toured as part of OzzFest, became a reality TV star, and is currently touring with Big & Rich. DJ Sinister is currently working on his forthcoming release, for which he has composed all of the rhythm tracks and played every instrument. Sinister says, “Every note is composed from scratch, and when people listen to it, they will appreciate every nuance of work I put into it.” Sinister is in high demand for national touring acts, special events, awards shows, and more.
Drawn to the storytelling aspects of country music, Dylan Schneider started performing and writing songs at the age of 14 after meeting Brett Eldredge and singing with him on-stage during a concert. After that, he began posting videos to his Facebook page, covering popular Country songs, and gaining a devoted online following. Since then, Schneider has made a name for himself in the Country music community, forging a sound that merges modern pop sensibilities with a down-home feel. He’s been named an “Artist to Watch” by Amazon Music, Pandora, Taste of Country, and Sounds Like Nashville and declared “Country Music’s Next Rising Star” by Billboard.

ACE FREHLEY & FOGHAT
August 10, 2024
***EMBARGOED Until 7:00 am CST on 2/06/24***
February 6, 2024
[Beaver Dam, KY] – Beaver Dam Amphitheater proudly announces another exciting addition to the First United Bank & Trust 2024 Concert Series. SATURDAY, AUGUST 10th, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® inductee and co-founder & original lead guitarist of KISS, ACE FREHLEY, is bringing his band to The DAM. Additionally, the legendary British rock band FOGHAT will perform. Special guests and Rome, Georgia-based band, The Georgia Thunderbolts, will open the show.
A Password PreSale for tickets occurs Thursday, February 8, from 9:00 am until 11:59 pm CST. Sign up for the email newsletter at BeaverDamAmp.com to receive the password. Tickets go on sale to the general public (No password required) on Friday, February 9, at 9:00 am CST.
Heath Eric, Promoter with The Eric Group, said, “For a classic-rock fan, it doesn’t get any bigger than ACE FREHLEY. To say he’s a legend is a gross understatement. Among other accolades, he’s the only co-founder & original member of KISS still touring. The show will be off the charts with 50% classic KISS hits and 50% of ACE’s solo stuff. And… FOGHAT will also perform, bringing all their hits and some cuts off their brand-new record. This one night at The DAM, fans will experience two LEGENDARY acts performing songs that define a generation. Yeah… I strongly suggest buying tickets well in advance for this one.”
The only thing more recognizable than ACE FREHLEY’s signature “Spaceman”
The GRAMMY® Award-nominated Bronx-born legend continues to elevate and electrify rock ‘n’ roll with his tenth full-length solo offering, 10,000 Volts. [MNRK Heavy] The record upholds an incredible legacy for Frehley, spanning 50-plus years in the limelight. Back in 1978, he delivered his solo debut, Ace Frehley. It reached platinum status and exploded as “the highest-selling of the four Kiss solo albums in the Soundscan era.” Pitchfork even retrospectively rated it a rare “8.5” score. In 1987, he dropped Frehley’s Comet, followed by 2009’s Anomaly. In 2014, he made history once again. His Space Invader LP captured #9 on the Billboard 200 and emerged as “The only solo album by a past or current Kiss member to reach the Top 10 on the chart.” Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, Slash, Lita Ford, and John 5 jumped at the chance to collaborate with him on 2016’s Origins Vol. 1, bowing at #1 on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart and in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top Rock Albums Chart. He notably maintained his momentum with Spaceman [2018] and Origins Vol. 2 [2020]. Applauding the latter, Forbes proclaimed, “The idea of fun has always defined ‘The Spaceman’s’ best work but never more so than on the cover songs that make up the Origins releases.”
In the end, Frehley doesn’t need any makeup because there’s nothing but uncontainable electricity at the heart of 10,000 Volts. As it turns out, the man who once sang “Shock Me” is as much of a livewire as ever in 2024 and beyond.
FOGHAT’s live performances show why the band is still around and why they will be able to keep on rockin’ as long as they want to play! Their music is timeless, and touring is part of their DNA. Foghat’s live show is as intense as ever, with the incredible energy and musicianship that one would expect and hope for from a seasoned band with such a long musical history, and they are bringing their fans along for the ride. These guys just love to play!
Not content to rest on their laurels, legendary and multi-platinum rockers FOGHAT recently released their long-awaited 17th studio album—their first in seven years. In addition to three brand new songs written by the band–founding member/drummer Roger Earl, guitarist/engineer/co-producer Bryan Bassett, bassist Rodney O’Quinn, singer/guitarist Scott Holt—three other songs were co-written by Kim Simmonds, the man who gave Roger his first break back in 1967 as a member of Savoy Brown. Sadly, shortly after writing these songs, Kim passed away. The release sees FOGHAT tip their hat to great artists that came before them, with songs on the album written by Willie Dixon, B.B. King, and Chuck Berry and giving plenty of winks and nods from the current lineup.
Formed in 1971 when Lonesome Dave Peverett & Roger Earl left the British blues-rock band, Savoy Brown, Foghat has earned eight Gold records, one Platinum record, and one double platinum record. And they continue to release new music every few years. They have never stopped touring and recording, although there have been several ups and downs and changes over the years. They sadly lost Lonesome Dave Peverett in 2000, and Rod Price in 2005, but Roger Earl kept banging & kicking to keep Foghat’s musical legacy going.
According to a recent review, “The ’70s called…but there is no way in hell we are giving Foghat back to them. The iconic band from the past is rocking just as hard as they did decades ago, if not more! Foghat’s thunderous blend of blues, boogie, and butt-kickin rock ‘n’ roll shakes walls and fans everywhere. There is so much talent in this band that it is ridiculous. Lead vocalist/lead guitarist Scott Holt played with Buddy Guy for over ten years, and lead/slide guitarist Bryan Bassett played with Wild Cherry and Molly Hatchet.” Bass player Craig Macgregor, who had been with the band since the ’70s, unfortunately became ill in 2015 and was unable to play, and we sadly lost him in February of 2018. Craig had recommended the very talented & personable Rodney O’Quinn as a ‘fill-in’ who came to Foghat via the Pat Travers band, where he proved he knew how to lay down a solid groove. O’Quinn viewed MacGregor as a mentor and as a great permanent addition to the band. And on drums, of course, is the man we must thank for keeping Foghat going…founding member Roger Earl.
If Foghat had only given us ‘Slow Ride,’ the band’s place in rock history would be secure. But the band is so much more than that. As stated by Roger Earl, “We are still a ‘work in progress,’ writing and recording and plan to be until the day we depart this earth.”
Ushering in a new generation of classic southern rock steeped in soul and the blues, The Georgia Thunderbolts have already been called “timeless” by American Songwriter, “your new favorite southern rock band” by Classic Rock, and proof that “southern rock continues to thrive in the 21st century” by Rolling Stone. Whether on the banks of the Mississippi River or deep in the heart of the English countryside, rock ‘n’ roll lives, breathes, and burns on the outskirts. Hailing from Rome, GA, at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, The Georgia Thunderbolts rise up with a scorching signature style steeped in soulful southern swagger. On Can We Get A Witness, their full-length debut for Mascot Records, the quintet—TJ Lyle [vocals, harp, piano], Riley Couzzourt [guitar], Logan Tolbert [guitar], Zach Everett [bass, keys], and Bristol Perry [drums]—conjure a tried-and-true spirit through a fresh fire.
On Saturday, June 15, these incredible bands will bring a power-packed show to The DAM.

We expect this show to sell out and encourage fans to purchase tickets as soon as possible. We’ll see you at the show.”
A savvy rapper with crossover appeal, Nelly seemed like a novelty when he debuted with the Top Ten pop hit “Country Grammar (Hot…)” in 2000. But he quickly proved to be a legitimate hitmaker with “Hot in Herre,” “Dilemma,” and “Shake Ya Tailfeather” — and those three only account for a fraction of his Hot 100-topping and Grammy-winning hits. These feats built the foundation of a career that boasts six consecutive Top Ten albums, from the diamond Country Grammar (2000) to the platinum 5.0 (2010) and “The Fix” (2015), leading to warmly received collaborations in the 2020s.
Nelly and his mother moved to St. Louis when the rapper was ten, and his universality is partly rooted in St. Louis, Missouri, which has set him apart from prevailing rap trends. His locale has certainly informed his rapping style, simultaneously country and street, as well as his dialect, a Southern drawl with some Midwestern twang. Never shying away from a commercial approach — he happily embraced his country roots on the 2021 country-pop album Heartland – Nelly has embraced a singalong style that has made his hooks catchier than most.
Born Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr., Nelly moved with his mother from downtown St. Louis to the slightly more suburban University City as a teen. There, he chiefly attended to baseball and rap, forming the St. Lunatics with a group of his peers (including Big Lee, Kyjuan, Murphy Lee, and City Spud). The St. Lunatics enjoyed a regional hit in 1996 with the self-produced single “Gimmie What You Got,” but no recording deal was forthcoming. Frustrated with failed attempts to land a record deal as a group, the St. Lunatics collectively decided that Nelly would have a better chance as a solo act. The rest of the group could follow with solo albums of their own. The gamble paid off, and Nelly soon caught the attention of Universal, which signed him to a solo deal.
His debut album, Country Grammar (2000), featured contributions from the St. Lunatics as well as the Teamsters, Lil Wayne, and Cedric the Entertainer, and thanks to the widespread popularity of lead single “Country Grammar (Hot…),” the album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 album chart, climbing to the top spot soon afterward. In addition to the Top Ten title track, Country Grammar spawned the hit singles “E.I.,” “Ride wit Me,” and “Batter Up.” In the wake of Nelly’s remarkable breakthrough success, he recorded a group album with the St. Lunatics, Free City (2001). Released by Universal, the album also charted in the Top Ten and spawned a moderate hit, “Midwest Swing,” which cracked the Billboard Hot 100.
The following summer , Nelly returned with his second album, Nellyville (2002), and lived up to his self-proclaimed billing as “#1” (i.e., the title of his 2001 hit from the Training Day soundtrack): Nellyville topped the Billboard album chart, while the Neptunes-produced lead single, “Hot in Herre,” remained atop the singles chart. In all, Nelly impressively held the number one spot on ten different Billboard charts the week of Nellyville’s release, and he remained a chart presence as he released a string of follow-up singles: “Dilemma” (a chart-topper featuring Kelly Rowland), “Air Force Ones” (a Top Three hit), “Work It” (featuring Justin Timberlake), and “Pimp Juice.” “Hot in Herre” and “Dilemma” each won Grammy awards — the former for Best Male Rap Solo Performance, and the latter for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.
Even after Nellyville ran its course commercially, Nelly’s hit streak continued unabated, with “Iz U” (from his stopgap remix album Derrty Versions [2003]) and another Grammy winner, “Shake Ya Tailfeather” (from the Bad Boys II [2003] soundtrack), keeping him in the spotlight while he readied his separately released double-disc Sweatsuit (2004) project (following the lead of OutKast and R. Kelly, who had both recently released very successful two-disc sets). Sweat and Suit were led by a pair of red-hot singles — “Flap Your Wings” (a club jam) and “My Place” (a slow jam) — and debuted at the top two spots on the Billboard 200 album chart. Follow-up singles included “Tilt Ya Head Back” (featuring Christina Aguilera), “Over and Over” (Tim McGraw), “Na-Na-Na-Na” (Jazze Pha), and “N Dey Say.” Sweat and Suit were later bundled as Sweatsuit (2005), along with the new song “Grillz,” itself a number one hit.
The time between the release of Sweat and Suit and that of Brass Knuckles (2008) was the longest Nelly went between albums to date. However, he did collaborate frequently (with Ashanti, R. Kelly, and T.I., to name a few) during the intervening period and built his acting résumé. The star-studded 5.0 (2010) featured the singles “Just a Dream” (produced by Jim Jonsin) and “Move That Body” (produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin, featuring Akon and T-Pain). M.O. (2013), issued three years later, featured numerous tracks with Pharrell, plus Nicki Minaj and NellyFurtado as guest stars. Nellyville, a BET reality series, started airing in November 2014. “The Fix,” featuring Jeremih, arrived the following year and was his 27th single to appear on the Hot 100. After a 2018 track with Jaquees, “Freaky with You,” Nelly retreated a bit but returned in 2020 with a slew of collaborations with such country artists as Jimmie Allen, Florida Georgia Line, and Kane Brown. This was the prelude to Heartland, a 2021 album that blended country-pop and rap. Along with the 2022 compilation album Still Hot in Herre, Nelly teamed up with country singer Chris Lane for the single “Birthday Girl.
Chingy, who single-handedly influenced cultural slang with “thurr” and “hurr”
An actor and philanthropist, Chingy,
The eighth song from his album, “I Do,” is featured on the soundtrack for the video game “Need for Speed: Underground 2.” The album also featured guest appearances from R. Kelly, Bun B, Lil Wayne, Lil’ Flip, David Banner, Nate Dogg, and Get It Boyz. That same year Chingy was featured on Houston’s Hot 100 single “I Like That” featuring Nate Dogg and I-20. Chingy’s fourth studio album, Hate It or Love It, also landed in the Billboard 200, and produced the Hot 100 hit “Fly Like Me,” featuring Amerie. The LP also featured appearances by Ludacris, Bobby Valentino, Steph Jones, Trey Songz, Rick Ross, and Anthony Hamilton. In 2020, Chingy teamed up with powerhouse vocalist Meghan Linsey and her equally talented Meg & Tyler duo partner, Tyler Cain, on their critically acclaimed collaboration, “The Woah Down,” which USA Today lauded as a “jovial banjo-and-beats collaboration,” while Entertainment Weekly lauded it as a “summer ready genre-blending single.”
