What is a wedding block and why do I need one?
- If you have 10 or more guests that will need overnight accommodations on your wedding weekend, it is customary to reserve a block of hotel rooms near your venue. Hotels offer a limited number of group room blocks and we can help secure them for you. You should reserve your room block as soon as the wedding date is set to ensure availability.
- Our services are FREE! Our hotel partners pay us a fee for bringing them business. This fee doesn’t raise your guest rate. We negotiate discounted rates and concessions on your behalf.
- Some hotels offer courtesy blocks while others require you to be financially responsible for a certain percentage of rooms in your block (attrition). It can be confusing so let our professionals work with you to help navigate and simplify the contracting process so you feel comfortable.
- A customized booking link will be provided for your guests to reserve a room at your discounted rate.
